DOES SECRET HABIT SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH OTHERS?

In the ordinary course of business, we may share some personal information with companies that we hire to perform services or functions on our behalf. If you submit a review for a third party (person or business) using our Facebook Fan Review Application, during the submission process we ask your permission to gather your basic information (such as name and email address) which we then share with the third party for whom you are submitting the review. We may cooperate with law enforcement authorities in investigating and prosecuting web site visitors who violate our rules or engage in behavior, which is harmful to other visitors (or illegal). WHO PROCESSES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

 

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Secret Habit, communicate with you, schedule and provide coaching sessions, process payments, and securely store information.

Depending on how you interact with Secret Habit, your personal information may be processed by the following providers:

MailerLite

We use MailerLite to manage email subscribers and send emails, updates, educational content, and other communications you have requested or agreed to receive.

Your name and email address may be stored in MailerLite for these purposes.

WordPress

Our website is built and operated using WordPress using Elengant Themes. Information submitted through website forms may be processed or stored through our website and its associated hosting and service infrastructure.

Calendly

We use Calendly to schedule coaching calls and appointments. When you book a call, Calendly may process information such as your name, email address, appointment details, and any information you choose to provide through the booking or intake form.

Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments. Payment information is processed by Stripe rather than stored directly by Secret Habit. Stripe may collect and process information necessary to complete and administer your payment.

Zoom

We use Zoom to provide online coaching sessions. Zoom may process information necessary to facilitate the meeting, such as your name, email address, meeting information, and technical information associated with your participation.

Coaching sessions are not recorded unless this is specifically communicated to you and appropriate permission is obtained.

Google Drive and Google Docs

We use Google Drive and Google Docs to store and manage certain client documents, coaching materials, and coaching notes.

Information stored there may include information that you choose to share with Shawn during your coaching relationship.

Access to these documents is restricted through account permissions and sharing controls.

HOW IS PERSONAL INFORMATION USED FOR COMMUNICATIONS?

 

We may contact you periodically by e-mail, mail or telephone to provide information regarding programs, products, services and content that may be of interest to you. In addition, some of the features on this web site allow you to communicate with us using an online form. If your communication requests a response from us, we may send you a response via e-mail. The e-mail response or confirmation may include your personal information. We cannot guarantee that our e-mails to you will be secure from unauthorized interception.

 

HOW IS PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURED?

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need it to provide our services and who are expected to handle it confidentially.

Client documents and coaching materials may be stored using Google Drive. Google states that files stored in Google Drive are encrypted both in transit and at rest, and access to files is controlled by the account and sharing permissions.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
